Sounding, speaking, shining, burning…

Things my Mother remembered (the list I found) May 12, 2003

Dancing in new shoes
Walking on gravel-feels like sharp glass
Licking spoons from the cake & frosting
Holding the baby
Peeling peach halves
Smelling dust
Smelling cut grass-building a fort
Eating a fried egg sandwich
Rolling tinfoil
Touching tongues
Watching the raccoon
Morning glories bloom
Cold mountain stream
Sliver under fingernail
Campfire smoke
Homesick
Rivertrout-mud taste
Sitting on my foot
Bee stings

I miss her
